As stated in the Central Louisiana Continuum of Care Governance Charter, the HMIS Committee provides oversight of the HMIS Applicant and the HMIS implementation and may make recommendations for changes to the system, privacy policy, security policy, and data quality plan. It also monitors compliance with HMIS requirements prescribed by HUD; and monitors participation in HMIS by users throughout the Continuum. The Central Louisiana Continuum of Care HMIS Governance Charter outlines additional responsibilities of the CoC, HMIS Applicant, and participating agencies regarding HMIS.
The HMIS Committee meets quarterly to review performance reports, discuss possible improvements within the implementation, ensure participating agency compliance with policies, HUD and state policy changes, and to address any participant grievances. If you are interested in serving on this committee, please contact Joseph Buzzetta at JosephB@cenlahomeless.org.
Committee Chairperson: Joseph Buzzetta (Central Louisiana Homeless Coalition) Committee Members: Ariana Alexander (Easter Seals), Travyon Amir (Vernon Community Action Council), Gabrielle Knight (Hope House of Central Louisiana), and Megan Vets (Central Louisiana Homeless Coalition)
